Winter chill may make a comeback
INDORE: The marginal rise in temperature during the past few days might have allowed you to avoid the burden of wearing that extra wool-knitted dress but if we go by the predictions of meteorological department officials, we may have to don them again after few days.
"The rise in temperature is just for the time being, and the weather conditions will get back to the colder side once the cloud formed due to Northerly winds drifts away from this region. The temperature may dip by 4-5 degrees Celsius then," said the weatherman.
"Northern winds push the clouds from other parts of the country, and they get collected over the central India. Such weather condition at this time of the year is a common phenomenon."
When asked how long such weather conditions may persist, another official from the MET department said: "We can't be sure of that, but it is predicted that the weather will remain same for at least next couple of days. Both the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to go up a little before winters resume."
Meanwhile, the temperature dipped to three degrees less on Wednesday from the temperature recorded on Tuesday. The maximum recorded temperature on Wednesday was 25.0, one degree below than the normal temperature. The minimum recorded temperature was 13.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the normal temperature.
